How do I find an alert that is going off?

Look in the following places for alert sounds: 1) Click the Yellow Bell button on the main tool bar for the Price Alerts form. Sound is controlled on the List tab. 2) Check the Alert objects owned by charts, + is last audio alert, = is the last message alert and <> is the last alert played with wave file. 3) Click the News button and check for keywords and sound on the Alerts panel of the News form. 4) Possibly you are using Ventrilo and the sound is coming from that program. Click the Setup button on ventrilo and select the Events tab and change every drop down box on this form to Nothing. 5) Click menu Setup | Connection and uncheck the Beep on Connect box. Possibly you are reconnecting and hearing the beep from the reconnect operation which is automatic. One of the above should be the source of your sound. Ensign's web site is www.ensignsoftware.com.
