I had no trouble converting.   Converted file is attached.  More important is the process used.
 
1)  Menu File | File Manager | Database Manager
2)  Navigate using the directory box to  C:\Ensign\Playback
3)  In the file list box, select  ES040123.   This selection changes the calendar to the 2004 date, and selects the Playback bullet.
4)  Click the Refresh button.
5)  Navidate to  C:\Ensign\Ticks\ES #F  folder   and the  040123  file is at the top of the list showing it converted.
6)  Use Playback Advanced to start the ES #F playback for  040123.
