Just had Ensign 04 26 05 crash on me when I was in Eurobund trade :-( so Ensign 04 26 05 also has stability issues , usual thing access violation message cascading across my screens , only soloution contrl alt del and shut it down :-( open it again

I had this same problem on an older machine last year . . . after referring it to Howard several times, it turned out that the power supply in my machine was running at its limit . . . when the computer reached peak loads, the memory behaved erratically leading to EW access violation errors; I swapped out the 350W power supply for something like 500W and the problems went away immediately.

My Rule 1: Run all computers, disk drives, data lines, power supplies, UPS etc at no more than 10-15% utilization at all times.

My Rule 2: Buy commercial grade systems, not retail grade which are more suitable for home use.

Another instance of power supply problem is when you see the cursor dashing randomly across the screen or out of screen area as you move the mouse around the pad. Just could not control the cursor at all. Change the power supply and normalcy would return.
